Into the Storm 

My name is Jens Dahl Davis, owner and operator of Bison Haus. I was born and raised here in the beautiful Gallatin Valley. I grew up skiing, camping, backpacking, hiking and enjoying all Montana has to offer. I obtained my Bachelors degree in Business Marketing at U of M in Missoula. I learned a lot about painting and business ownership while growing my painting business in Missoula over 5 years. We painted over 400 houses and had a 99% customer satisfaction rating! This is also where I met my beautiful partner, Bridget.

Our family moved to San Diego, CA in 2016. While in San Diego we owned and operated a Nationwide flooring franchise. Covid and a growing family brought us back to Montana in 2020 (thank God!).

Since 2020 I have broadened my knowledge and experience of General Contracting, project management and finishing work. My experience in this area has including building multiple houses, dozens of remodels, and ALOT of fun painting projects. 

​

My priority as owner of Bison Haus is to provide high quality work, honest and clear communication to my customers, and a positive thriving place to work.

Why Bison Haus? 

​

The Bison, the most Iconic animal representing strength, solidarity, and the American west. Growing up in this part of the country, and visiting Yellowstone led me to always appreciate these animals. In addition the story of the Bison and what is has overcome as species is pretty unique.

The Bison does not shy from a storm like common cattle or livestock, but instead faces directly into the storm. By doing this the bison faces the challenge head on, and as result the storm is not as long as if you were to run from it. This truth gives me goosebumps, and has so many parallels that I would like emulate in my life and in business. I would like to say I approach problems or hardship personally and professionally head on, and with honesty. That is a core value I strive to emulate within this business, and in my life. Into the Storm.

Haus? Haus pays homage to my Scandinavian roots. And it sounds bad ass.
